Acne Studios have successfully freshened and modernised the classic imagery of a smiley face. Taking our obsessions with anything emoji related and applying it distinguishably onto the fashion packs current fascination with sneakers. A design, completely unrelated and heterogenous to that once beloved smiley face that was erected on anything and everything back in the 1990's. Simple, tasteful even with just a hint of cheeky attitude. An unreadable expression; one that can delineate feelings of blasé, high brow or contentment. Utterly endless. The sneakers themselves exude effortless coolness coming in an array of textures and hues like the pictured above white and in nude, black and even metallics like gold and silver. Covetable model off duty vibes, perfect with a staple uniform of distressed denims and favoured white t-shirts. Or made daringly different with billowy floral maxi's as seen here previously at Sydney Fashion Week.
Like what you see? Peruse them here and share below how you'd style these cheeky devils.

There's something distinctly spectacular about this romper and it lies within the print itself. A print which teeters on the edge of modern femininity and one that is for me becoming synonymous with the recent influx of cherry blossoms that line my street and the bold cerulean skies that shimmer above them. There is also a sophisticated sort of uniqueness associated with it that dramatically veers it away from those generic florals that permeate fashions right now. Perhaps that is because of the contrasting colour spectrum; a harmonious juxtaposition of nontraditional hues. Duck egg blues interweaving with bold scarlet tones. It's slightly off balanced yet in perfect symmetry. It's not wildly unusual yet unquestionably fearless.
Snare it here.

As the weather on this side of the world cools significantly, the other side is bracing for warmth, sun and sand. And though I adore the cold, those grey skies and rainy days, when pops of blue constantly invade ones feed you can't help but yearn for a little sunshine. Even if you seemingly despise that obnoxious radiating ball of fire. I don't know about you guys but right now it seems like everyone is travelling overseas; and by overseas I mean Europe. And I don't just refer to bloggers, famous Internet kids and Instagramers. I'm talking about your neighbours, friends and family. They're all over there right now and you? Yes, you? Stuck over here wallowing in envy. Perusing their happy snaps of enjoying the warmth and gelato and revelling with dashing Europeans all while combating and navigating those treacherous cobblestone lined streets; a stilettos enemy number one.
If there's one thing I enjoy doing on a rainy day it is to sit by an open fire with a Dostoyevsky resting on my lap as I become overly immersed by notifications of others. Distracted with painted scenes of beach shenanigans, hotdog legs bathed by sunlight and sand and hand holding rainbow ice cream shots with remarkable works of architecture blending dully into the background. My imagination left to run wild with various concocted schemes. And over the weekend I did just that, only one thing remained constant and that was a divine romper I spotted on ASOS last Friday. A plunging neckline, black in colour and a skort bottom. Were there not a more magical combination for travel? Slight practicality, comfort and effortless style combined. It is one of those rare pieces you come across and think, heck yes I'll take that to St Barts! And to Paris and Barcelona too. Oh and that Guadi walking trail you've spent most of your youth mapping out. All playfulness aside I do believe this is one hell of a knock out piece, be it used for travel or brunch with your friends. What do you think? Is your imagination creating all kinds of crazy right now too?

Who here does not adore Schutz? I think it's safe to say that you all do. And what is not to love? Conceptual, fantastical and most importantly attainably affordable. Their designs in general posses ingenuity and a sort of grace, if you will, that draws you into their irrevocable charms. This fancy footwear brand has stuck fast within my heart and become a favourite of mine because of its quality and substance, timeless appeal and style beyond its years. Like these beauties above. A combination of my preferred hue in the colour spectrum, black and the once again on trend snakeskin with an overall 70's hippie slash rocker vibe. Shoe porn at its finest. Honestly don't think I've ever met a pair from these guys that I haven't irrationally lust after? Have you?
Like it? Snare this babe, right here ladies.

Still keeping with all things pink but I'm toughening shit up with a touch of rock 'n' roll. I have such a soft spot for vintage rocker tees. I used to posses quite the collection when I was much. much younger (as well as some cringeworthy boy band ones too), however I tossed them out in unnecessary haste many moons ago and have regretted it since. I've been desperate to accumulate that awesomeness once more but have had the most difficult time in my pursuits. At least in finding the genuine, vintage kind that is. I have purchased one or two newbies but they're just not the same as those made in 70's or 80's. There's an air of je ne sais quoi about that vintage kind and much mystery too. Oh if only they could speak, just imagine the tales they would tell! Drugs? Sex? Hendrix? And then there's places they'd possibly ventured to like Woodstock? Or front row at a Guns & Roses gig? And much like a dusty novel awaiting to be read or that stranger you meet on the train who has lead the most unconventional life, those tee's have stories that we need to indulge in. Which is what I love most about them, not just for the typography or art but the intrigue of where it roamed all these years since and where it will continue to travel to in the near future.

Be still my beating heart (if I had a dollar for every time I uttered such a phrase on here!). Seriously guys how gloriously wonderful are these booties by Emilio Pucci? A real work of art if you ask me; decadently bohemian slash gypsy magnificence with a touch of that all important rock 'n' roll. These babies will cost you an arm and leg but hey pieces of exceptional quality and real value usually do. I'm envisioning these beauties paired with a little black something adorned in lace - quite possibly sheer, maybe a dose of leather for good measure and of course the pièce de résistance a dark pout.
I'll be praying and chanting to the shoe Gods for these, but you can make them yours right here.

Is it outlandish to be coveting something I once utterly despised? Something I hastily trashed upon its discovery some years ago? I remember gasping in mock horror when I uncovered them. I was completely mortified that these pieces from my Spice Girls loving days still lurked about unused in my childhood drawers. It felt like I stumbled upon the most loathsome of spiders and I needed to dispose of it immediately. I remember clutching my once beloved faux tattoo chokers between sheets of toilet paper, terrified that the stretchy black plastic would brush against my skin and tarnish it with cheapness. Worst still was the shame that soon followed. Shame that I still possessed such atrocious nineties monstrosities.
And yet here we are lovers, a few years on and for some inexplicable reason I can not seem to cease my lust for these once fashion faux pas. Maybe it's because I've encountered numerous style mavens out on the streets adorned in the plastic things. Seeing them out on edgy trendsetters that also posses real attitude has me viewing these in a shiny new perspective. Girls styling them with a thick cat eye and bold blood red lip has modernised them and vamped up their cool factor yet again. And though you'll never again see me pairing them with a spaghetti strap tank and sky high ponytail, *shudders* I can envision these with a fierce denim jacket, a strappy watch and a minimalist gold bracelet.

Simple is the key to making these work.

Just sitting here on this fine Tuesday imagining viewing the world through these tinted Miu Miu sunglasses. Basking under a European sun, its warmth enveloping deliciously as it kisses my bronzed flesh and inevitably leaving marks from my Zimmerman swimwear. Like some kind of VIP, I have the entire beach to my disposal. The sand I lay upon is velvety and silken while blindingly white against the flawless swirls of cerulean and turquoise water. My hands are occupied, one capturing a single moment one thousand times via an electronic device, while the other grips a green coconut lavished with a novelty neon pink umbrella and matching straw; the condensation pooling on my palm.

Move over PS11 and hello Heroine! I'm sorry but I've officially fallen for another. I am completely and irrevocably smitten with this dandy blush McQueen. Sure she costs a pretty penny or two thousand (to be exact) but look at those lines! Architectural brilliance they are. I know a lot of you will be up in arms over this, that given the choice you'd pick Proenza any day, but hear me out on this one will you. They're both in equal price ranges and they are both quite compact in size, however deceivingly generous on the inside.
What the humble Proenza has that McQueen does not is an over saturation out on the streets. It seems these days every style blogger and their dogs are carrying a PS-something but the lovely Heroine series are a rare species out there. You might see one or two out and about, but that is it. And why? Because it's lusted over discreetly, treasured and worn by a select few who want to remain ahead of the pack; who prefer anonymity over brashness. And no I am not hating on Proenza Schouler and their following - please don't misinterpret this as that when it's not. Hell, you'll probably see me carrying one of those bad boys in the next few weeks even, but my point was that I just wanted to divert your eyes to something else. To something more. To another bag that isn't exactly part of that 'in' crowd but proudly stands alone and is not afraid to run her own race.
Either way, shop her right here.

That whole Birkenstock thing is having another moment and I am not it's hugest fan. Sure they're absurdly agreeable to ones footsies; like walking on gossamer clouds, pillows and all. But they're pretty repelling and I personally hold the belief that they also produce cankles. Either way these b****es are here to stay so rather than dusting off ye ole' white pair I know I have buried deep within the confines of my closet I think I'd prefer a newer pair, because why the hell not. And these Isabel Marant babies still have that 'slide' factor so they're totally in with that crowd but they also have that oh so pretty crossed-over weave at the front which makes for a much more flattering and stylish look to ones footsies which is always important. In my books anyway. How about you guys? Yay or nay?

Givenchy. Seems to be the hot ticket item and a name on everyone's lips, especially the blogger style scene. Everywhere I turn if it's not a colourful, floral print Birkenstock inspired sandal popping up all over my Insta-feed then it's a cacophony of Madonna and graphic print tees as far as the eye can see. I am not the hugest fan of those, mainly for the high neck factor not the actual print itself, which I do kind of adore. But this "Favela" lace tee is on a whole 'notha level. It's semi demure, sporty and fierce despite it's dainty lace everything. It's not so loud and narcissistic, not unless you make it be and I am positive will inspire a train of knock-off designs over the coming year.

How about that sweater! I swear every time I set my eyes upon it's far from debonair faux cross-stitching slogan I can't help but 'LOL' at the flood of memories that swell into my braincells of a young Macaulay Culkin siting by his lonesome in that grand kitchen eagerly awaiting for the opportune moment to light those fire crackers that lay dormant in his mothers casserole pan. You'd have to have been living under a rock to not recognize that scene and you certainly don't have to be a 90's kid to take that memorable stroll down nostalgia lane. So in the spirit of the Holiday Season why not do fellow mankind a favor and don this bad boy. Tote him around proudly and watch the eyes of passers by grow large as they struggle to keep their poker faces in tact but fail miserably as a hoard of giggles breaks free from their mouths.
I guarantee such a scenario to transpire, every damn time.

I've always been enamoured with zodiac themed things, particularly in sartorial forms regardless if it's in style or not. I am an Aquarian and damn proud of it! I am also one of 'those people' who are always reading up on their horoscopes like a religion. So you can imagine my delight when I noticed these Charlotte Olympia beauties adorned in my star sign, and though I am not one for solid pale hued shoes, (they just look awful on my fair complexion) being a fiercely loyal Aquarian I automatically adore them, reminding my brain that the grey-blue represents water, like the sea foam in the ocean and it would be like traipsing around in puddles, only drier, much drier.

Excuse the MIA kids but internet issues will do that to you and hopefully I'll be all up and at 'em from here on in regardless. So let's begin by kick starting with some major lusting of the baggie variety. Aside from internet issues I am also experiencing wallet issues and it's lack thereof, so what does one do in times like these? Well apart from lurking in dark corners crying myself to sleep I also tend to 'window shop' more frequently, like, much more than usual in a feeble hope that the Universe will hear my prayers and bestow upon me my entire wishlist musings from both Net-A-Porter and Shopbop.
One day Sonia, one day. In the meantime this little cuteness has been on my radar for some time now. I mean who doesn't adore a Rebecca Minkoff M.A.C bag? Seriously if you don't, well we just can't be friends. But my only concerns here is simply which color I should decide upon. Tough choice you know; from prints and pastels to classic hues I mean what's a gal to do? I'm favouring this woven kind in black, mainly for the rose gold features but I'm also crushing on the white too. What does one do?
Shop both here.

This ASOS backless top; I am left wordless by it's utter beauty in concept and design. It's flattering and effortlessly stylish. And perfect for those not so there balmy nights in high waisted shorts or for those of us on the other side of the world experiencing the opposite right now to any warmth some slick rock 'n' roll leather pants. Currently I am just awaiting my size to get restocked then I'm totes making this mine. Shop this (similar) sexy beast here.

As you're well aware I've come down with a case of writers block and as such am immersing myself in others travels abroad. So whilst I allow myself to be swept away by wanderlust and penning away a possible 'dream' vacation outing I also find myself lusting away on matching 'dream' vacation wardrobe essentials. Let's be honest, I've made lists upon lists of what I intend to bring along. I love making lists. This dress is high on my radar, it's actually what I consider to be more of an essential piece alongside toothpaste and shampoo. It's demure in design whilst tastefully accentuating those finer assets we all like to show off. Perfect for spontaneous roadtrips down the Mediterranean coastline too. Not that I'm spending far too much time daydreaming about that or anything.

Alexis Bittar is one of my favourite jewellery designers mainly for it's edgily striking uniqueness in each and every design. These crystal spear necklaces are not for those faint of heart and I suppose the only reason they're not on my body right now is because I've been torn against two metals. Rose gold or gold? A tough decision indeed.
So help a gal out and let me know which would you do? Shop rose gold here.

Honestly, I am the most backwards gal y'all could ever meet! When it's freezing and grey out I crave warmer weather yet when it's icky and hot I yearn for chilly weather and a white Christmas. So to state the obvious I'm in the wrong hemisphere right now, I am also incredibly enviable of you lucky northern hemispherites whom get to enjoy the snuggling warmth of this Rag & Bone coat, not to forget it's complete and utter badass fierceness, while I have to wait some months before I can don such sartorial brilliance...
Oh woe is me,
