Eating a balanced diet isn't just about maintaining a healthy weight, there are several other benefits too. A healthy diet won’t just get you into that special pair of jeans but will also affect your mood, general health and  skin.

In order to get great skin you have to look after yourself from the inside out and to do this you need to eat as wide a range of food as possible, with at least 5 portions of delicious and colourful fruit and veg. Studies show that vitamins C,E,A,K and B are the most effective in rejuvenating and boosting your skin.

Why not try a glass of orange juice in the morning for vitamin C. A lettuce and spinach salad is rich in vitamins E and A and will make the perfect addition to your regular lunch. Finish the day with an added portion of broccoli and asparagus with your dinner to stock up on vitamin K. If you get hungry during the day add some tasty pistachios as a snack to increase your consumption of vitamin B.

Once you have the right diet for your skin you can then give yourself an extra nourishing boost using Johnson's fabulous skin care range products providing you with all the extras you need to care for your skin. Why not start using Johnson's face care range with added antioxidant vitamin C, pro-vitamin B5, zinc, magnesium and copper. That way, you know that even if your diet has a few bad days, your skin will still remain glowing and well fed.

As an added skin irritation, many of us suffer from stretch-marks on various areas of our bodies. Maintaining a balanced weight will help prevent stretch-marks whilst vitamins C and E and the mineral zinc can keep your skin in top condition to reduce the signs of stretch marks altogether. If you're struggling to rid yourself of these marks, Johnson's Skin Perfecting Oil is specially designed with vitamin E and is proven to get to work in just 4 weeks, boosting skin elasticity and giving you your confidence back.

Change Your Clothes, Change Your Mood
By: Jackie Clark

When mesothelioma cancer is pulling you down into a well of despair and when mesothelioma oncologists are only invested in treating your physical problems, it is time to see what you can do when you want and need an emotional lift. Being strong is about more than just what you can lift, and beauty is more than just what you were born with. Fashion is something that can make a huge difference in how you feel and how you act on a day to day basis, so consider what type of fashion choices will leave you feeling empowered and mighty!

When you are feeling rough, the last thing that you want is to be faced with a number of fashion choices that you need to make. Even a fairly pared down closet can feel a little overwhelming, so let’s take it down a notch. Sit down and make a list of all the outfits that you want to wear over the next few days. Think about what you are going to be doing and what kind of lifestyle you lead. Having a list outfits prepared in front of you can make a huge difference to the effect you can make. For example, you don’t have to scramble around in the morning, and you will also find that it allows you to come up with outfits that you love!

Choose clothing that leaves you feeling energized and upbeat. For example, what colors make you smile? Whether you are someone who loves a sunny yellow or a stormy purple, you will discover that the right color can brighten up your day immensely. Think about where you are in your life and think about the little things that can help you. The colors that you choose are colors that you choose for a reason. Whether these colors are the ones that look great on you or the colors are the ones that simply have wonderful associations for you, you will find that there are definitely reasons to wear them.

Remember to concentrate on good fit as well. If you are undergoing mesothelioma treatment, you want clothes that feel great on you. That means that you should avoid anything that feels too tight. On the other hand, this does not mean that you should avoid things that are well fitted. There are so many great clothes out there, and all you have to do is find the ones that fit you well. The better an outfit fits you,
the more likely it is that you are going to like it. Remember that a small amount of alteration, which you either make yourself or that you ask someone else to make, can help your clothes fit much more effectively.

Are you someone who has had enough of being seen as tired and ill all the time? Think about how you want to present yourself and what you can do to create a wonderful look for yourself. It takes a little bit of time and less money than you might believe, but the effects can be amazing!

You may or may not have seen this video making the rounds around Facebook, Twitter and so many other social media outlets. If you have not already watched this then please seriously take the time to view it ASAP.

So who and what is Kony? Well he is the leader of the LRA a group whom recruits young children as soldiers. The boys are used as soldiers. Their first task is murdering their own parents and the girls are recruited as sex slaves. Got your attention now? It's only 30 minutes and all it asks is for you to share this in hopes of bringing some much needed awareness to a person who needs to be made known and accountable for his appalling actions. We must make Joseph Kony famous - not for Hollywood nor glamourous reasons but to simply bring awareness to a truly horrific and despicable man of epic proportions.

There is still so much suffering and injustice happening in Africa and though he is one of many other cruel criminals lurking out there, if we can bring even more awareness to his imminent capture it's very well a start in making a difference over there and if all you do is share this on your Facebook or other social media accounts chances are you will catch other people's attention and those people may very well make a stand and participate too. To get involved just watch the video and share it! If you want to do more sign up at kony2012.com and you could even 'like' the brains behind this non-profit organisation Invisible Children.

So will you make Kony famous?

Le Pont des Arts in Paris is no ordinary bridge, it is one of the most romantic bridges in Paris, but it once was more well known for it status as the love lock bridge. Lovers would flock here from all over the globe to inscribe their names on a padlock. The act involved writing one another's initials into the lock, fastening it to the metal railing then throwing the key into the river Seine below. In doing this you are sealing your love for each other forever! Unfortunately it was removed back in 2010 by the French government because of concerns on the impact and the visual appeal they had on its surrounding architecture and the city itself.

But no need for dispair as recently the Petit Pont de l’Archevêché has become the new hotspot for the love locks! I do wonder how long will they remain until they are once again removed and I hope I will get a chance to see this in person! However due to it's popularity the French Government are looking at permanent fixtures for couples to cement their love upon - fixtures that wont detract away from the exceptional architecture!

I adore the idea of a 'love lock' and what it represents. Personally I don't see them as vulgar but as a symbol of love in a city that has always been, and probably always will be, the city of love. All I can say for now is that I hope they remain in place a little while longer because this has definitely made it onto my bucketlist!

Love,

He [Kurt Cobain] talked about how ugly he thought he was all of the time. I remember one day he looked in a mirror and almost shed a few tears because he was so uncomfortable in his own skin. He was really insecure. This photo was one of the only ones he’s ever liked of himself. He told me he liked it because he thought he looked good. Kurt rarely looked at a photo of himself and felt he was attractive. He kept that photo in his wallet for awhile, I think. He was proud of it...

Isn't there something special and inspiring about this image? (Apart from the obvious urge one gets to to make their way immediately to the airport!) It's utterly romantic and whimsical with all those cute pink balloons floating in the air and it brings back fond memories of when I first travelled to Paris.

What was once considered to be an eyesore is now classed as a work of art. For me, I love how it stands tall and proud in the Champ De Mars, it has the best view's of the city itself and to come into it's presence is truly magical. Which gets me thinking. What is more iconic then the glorious Eiffel Tower? Seriously? Think of Paris, romance or even food and I guarantee this little beauty will pop into your head. It is constantly featured in films, photography and even inspires fashion designers such as the late Alexander McQueen. It's virtually on most people's bucket list and almost always one of the first things you do when you get to Paris itself.
