COVET #22



There's something about the sartorial amalgamation of western accents and bohemian charisma that continuously leaves me weak at the knees. Anyone else suffer from this style affliction? Maybe it simply calls to my inner rock child or perhaps it's appeal is more inline with it being undeniably aesthetically pleasing. The pairing go hand in hand, like Thelma and Louise or like peas in a pod. Miu Miu's Dahlia range is the perfect marriage of such an amalgamation. Delicate and petite yet capable to stand on it's own. Statement is an understatement. It is unique and individual and adorned in dainty bohemian ornamentation.

This little bad boy is set to break a few hearts (and bank accounts).

    How beautiful! This is not my usual style but I can't help but be drawn in to the design. These are undeniably unique and eye catching. Actually I bet my daughter would love it, lol!

    Oooh that is a pretty bag! I do love a good embellishment on a bag (started with my love of CHloe Paddingtons and their huge lock all those years ago!) but I don't have many fun bags like that in my wardrobe at the moment sadly! :(

    Ehrmahgerd! That Dahlia is a beaut! Of course, now sold out everywhere....sigh...but yeah...totally understand your love for Western accents, Sonia:) I remember Isabel Marant had a collection that's Western-inspired and I just wanted every piece. I just love the whole vibe.

    And glad to hear you liked Uncontrollably Fond:) I was actually deciding whether to watch this or W but W ended winning. Finished and really loved W, despite not liking the Lee Jong Suk too much. Everyone else was amazing in it, and the story is really quite unique. Let me know how you're liking it:) I'll be watching Blood next, and probably will check out Gong Hyo Jin's new drama as well.

    These are little pieces of art. My fave is the second one, black and silver with studs. They are eye catching for sure! I've been coveting many, many, many booties for the coming Fall. So many choices out there, and me on a little shopping budget. :))

    UGH! So much of my money is spent on food and other activities that I forget to take care of my style! LOL Maybe this is why people call me a hipster-- I just throw whatever I think looks good!     Bags with embellishments like these can be so fun and perfect to be worn with more minimal outfits.

    I'm glad to hear that you've been making time for K-dramas with everything you have going on right now. They can really be such a wonderful escape. I haven't watched Uncontrollably Fond or W because I wasn't interested in the stories or the actors in them. I finished The Good Wife recently and am now watching Fantastic. The Good Wife was superbly acted. I'd recommend it. I think that The Woman Who Still Wants to Marry is also known as Still Marry Me. If you enjoyed Prosecutor Princess, you'll like that one :)

    Ugh, this bag is gorgeous, and the way you've described it is perfect. Bohemia meets Western; what an utterly charming combination. I'm a bit of a picky person when it comes to bags, though, opting almost exclusively for backpacks, so perhaps if this were a handbag, hmm.
