I've literally sat here since noon trying to conjure up a topic or subject to further discuss or elaborate on but alas, nothing. I can't seem to find the words right now so instead I'll play this a little different today and will ask you, the reader to tell me anything in the comments below. First of all, I love the quote. Speaks loud and clear. Second, my life has been chaotic. I really thought I had it all down and in my hands. But now I am debating if I did a right choice and if I am really happy with my decision. Also, I am extremely stressed with all the exams and I only wish for them to be over, so I could happily go to uni and then get a job :)

I've heard about this one too. I think it's a Feng Shui thing from memory but they say you should never leave your handbag on the floor because it is bad luck, but in terms of money. If you leave it on the floor it means you loose money! This is something I make sure I never do hehehe xx

ReplyDeleteThis week, I've been angry at myself, at my family, at my friends, at the world, at the universe and at life. I was walking in the park with my boyfriend late one evening and we talked about things that made us angry. He hates human trafficking. I hate domestic violence. He hates people who destroyed lives. I hate people who wouldn't change despite knowing where they're wrong. He hates arrogance. I hate anger. We both hated how we both couldn't do anything to change the world.
It's something the both of us routinely go through on our own; pondering on the issues of the world where we passionately and desperately want to change but cannot, and it angers and frustrates us to the core. To have been able to discuss it together, though, gave us a sort of hope that at least there's someone we know working towards change -- albeit slowly.
Not exactly sure where I'm going with this but I assume a follow up question is needed for dicussion's sake, so: What are some of the things in things in this world that you hate to your core and would like to change?

I know what you mean, I sometimes get so overwhelmed with my disgust for humans, more so than ever. I feel like there's something new to be angry at every day. I guess thanks to social media we're much more informed than ever. I wish I could do something to make people more empathetic and kinder not just to each other but the planet and our animal friends. But we're so destructive, it makes me ill to even contemplate xx

Nothing much is happening on my side with the exception the little one is no longer a 'little one'. He's saying more and more words each day which makes me miss him as a baby. His favourite word? 'No..no,no,no,noooo!' See why I miss him as a baby?
ReplyDeleteAlso, I was seriously upset recently when I was asked to either delete a part of my post that reflects badly on this particular brand or pull down the whole post. I pulled down the post because I'll never leave a half truth out there. It was a few days of hard work, not to say almost a month of testing, all gone to waste because the company wasn't happy with my truth. Oh well...sigh.
