FASHION WEEK STREET STYLE: NYFW FALL 2016

It's been such a whirlwind of craziness since I returned and only now have been able to peruse the collections and street fashions from NYFW. Seeing everyone overly bundled up in thick leather bikers and wooly (faux) furry coats leaves me overly envious. Oh how I long to hide my own face in a burly blanket scarf, especially after sweltering through an excessively hot and sticky Melbourne day yesterday.

What were your faves from New York during this fashion week? I've been crushing on Alexander Wang and 3.1 Phillip Lim. Also really feeling those Victorian-esque hairstyles from Marc Jacobs. Not that I could pull a flattened curl as effortlessly as those models did. And of course so nice to see an (small) influx of bloggers making their appearance in the street style notoriety game.

    I am wishing for cooler weather too! It's been far too hot this month, ugh. haha.

    I love the blue + white stripes on the blouse the most!! And other syles are equally FAB though not as eye-catching as the stripy one hehe.. Hope you enjoyed NYFW Sonia :)

      Definitely a greater presence of wearable in terms of the costume kinds of past seasons. And it goes to show, you don't have to go "crazy" with fashion to be polished and chic xx

    I haven't really followed NYFW this year, so I don't have any favourites. The people on that bunch of photos are truly fashionable and I like each outfit. The faux fur seems to be a huge trend right now, but to be honest I wouldn't mind walking around with bare legs in my denim shorts instead!

    It was like below freezing in NYC during this past NYFW so I'm really impressed with how these ladies were able to forgo warmth for style or maybe they just didn't feel the cold. Hanneli looks fabulous as always!
